Healing light for your skin
LED light therapy uses specific wavelengths of light to energise skin cells, support healing and boost collagen. At Self Care with Karine in Engadine, LED is offered on its own as a relaxing glow treatment, or as an add-on after HIFU, skin needling and peels.
It is completely non-invasive. You simply relax under the light while it works, which makes it one of the most calming treatments on Karine's menu.
Different colours of light reach different depths in the skin. Red light supports collagen and repair, blue light is used for breakout-prone skin, and near-infrared light reaches deeper to calm inflammation and support healing.
LED is suitable for almost everyone, including sensitive skin. It is popular for fine lines, dullness, breakouts, redness and for speeding up recovery after other treatments.
For clients who love LED, Karine also offers an at-home LED therapy mask and the professional LED Face & Body Dome Pro.
